GCGM is just up and running - heck, even their site is so brand new that it's still "in rehearsal" - but this place has such a flying start! Kudos to Art, the staff, and EJP for putting so much work into making things happen!
Every now and then I'm sending news letters by email for those who want to know where I'm playing. It's possible to subscribe per region, or to choose for several regions and you can unsubscribe anytime you'd like (although you probably wouldn't, right?). So, if you don't want to miss out, follow this link. Thanks and keep supporting live music!
So, here we are. The last time I blogged was somewhere in March, so you might think: hey, what's up with that? Well, I've been busy outlining a few things for myself, and of course there's all the stuff going on with the projects I'm already in.
Wow, just when I thought things would ease down a little bit, a whole lot of things happened all at once, and it didn't give me any time go update my website so here it goes! I'm very proud to tell you guys that since yesterday I'm a jazz combo teacher at the Royal Conservatory of The Hague! It's a really strange but nice feeling to get back to the school where I studied once, and to be there in a totally different role. The combo is very international, from Greece to Iceland, and a joy to work with.
Edwin Pennock is going full steam ahead with his new album Here I Am and it shows now. It really makes me feel great that last summer's hard work in the studio is paying out for him and for the band, and that I'm part of it!
